Announcing ATX Blues! A new professional soccer team in North Austin.

ATX Blues is a new semi-professional team started by Town and Country Optimists as a pathway for our best players to extend their soccer journey and continue to participate in the Austin soccer community.

We believe the purpose of soccer is to build community and collaboration and to work together off the pitch to build our community into a better place for youth and the future. And when we get the community together we play some soccer too - sometimes at high levels - but our community and commitment to growing and benefiting those around us off the pitch is always a part of what we do!

T&C Recognized the need to expand out from exclusively youth rec soccer and build a high level soccer organization that was entrenched in the North Austin community - so we launched ATX Blues.

The Best Soccer Community in Austin!

Town and Country is the oldest continuous running soccer club in Austin. For 50 years we have provided soccer and sports in the Austin Community.

Our mission is to build the greatest soccer community in the Austin area where everyone is welcome and can play soccer, have fun, and build lifelong friendships and memories. T&C offers recreational soccer programs, an Academy and select program that is an Everton International Affiliate Club and now ATX Blues - our newest addition playing semi-professional soccer! But, our main goal is engagement with the community. We teach volunteers, players, coaches, refs, parents and spectators that the most important part of soccer is learning to be a part of a community that gives back and participates! We strive to provide opportunities for everyone and to promote an environment of learning and sportsmanship in all activities.

And, we are the largest community-based club in Austin. With our 100 acre complex and over 20 soccer fields we have some of the best facilities in the country right here in Austin. We have over 1700 players, 200 volunteers and 40 coaches and staff members who run the best soccer club in Austin.

We have the best players, families, coaches, and volunteers in Austin and all for affordable prices because soccer (even high level soccer) should NOT cost as much as college tuition just to play a game!
